Se, sensorics of power (sense of dominance)

Keywords: self-confidence, use of force, territorial aggression, suppression, seizure, appropriation, resistance, dominance, possession, sexual possession, adulthood, solidity, authority, power

Definitions:
Se (in general): Intensification of selection on the principle of dominance of the most realized, central variant and rejection (denial of access to resources and reproduction, expulsion from territory, exile and destruction) of all other, less adapted ones
Base Se: Striving for maximum strengthening of one's positions, pushing through and implementing one's interests in competitive struggle
Creative Se: Suppressing new trends and behaviors at the root as potentially dangerous to maintaining a strong position

Typical trait components of Se:
Se + Sensorics = Physical agility and dexterity in quick, injury-prone interactions with material objects (able to grab, strike, yank, break in the right place, etc.)
Se + Central = Willingness to use violence for selfish purposes
Se + Extroversion = Self-confidence, ability to impose oneself (“pushiness”)
Se + Irrationality = Unconcerned about the harm caused to others by their actions
Se + Statics = Willpower, stubbornness and obstinacy (not a step back)

Atypical trait components of Se:
Se + Intuition = Calm attitude towards risk; unwillingness to engage in small everyday tasks ("it's not fit for a king")
Se + Peripheral = Alien to obsessive suspicions and disturbing fantasies
Se + Introversion = “Impenetrability”, ability to assert oneself through silence and solid immobility
Se + Rationality = Ability to mobilize and quickly organize to solve problems
Se + Dynamics = Potential venality and corruption - willingness to steal, lie and participate in criminal schemes to increase one's wealth

Typical manifestations of combining Se with other functions:
The sum of two functions:
Se + Ne = Likes to break the rules of the game and communal life (SLE+SEE+ILE+IEE)
Se + Ni = Selfishness, bandit/thief values - using others’ misfortune and crisis for self-gratification and enrichment (SLE+SEE+IEI+ILI)
Se + Si = Does not suppress instinctive urges in oneself, alien to any “complexes”, does not postpone pleasures (SLE+SEE+SEI+SLI).
Se + Ti = Rigidity, cruelty, intransigence, love of weapons, strives to be armed
Se + Fi = Ability to hide one's weaknesses, highlight and emphasize others'; ability to live among enemies, resisting their intrigues
Se + Te = Likes to lead, to be the boss, to command, thirst for big money
Se + Fe = Likes to be the center of attention, the most desired, provoking envy and imitation, thirst for popularity
Se + Qi = Pride, readiness to resist encroachments on one's authority, unwillingness to suffer damage
Se + Di = Fearlessness, not afraid to fight, to inflict and receive damage
Se + Qe = Offensive aggressiveness, easily resorts to violence
Se + De = Ability to quickly deliver verbal and physical retaliation

The sum of the three functions:
Se + Ti + Qi = Stubbornness, radicalism, absence of doubts in decisions made, rebel-revolutionary type
Se + Ti + Di = Contempt for weakness, understands only the language of force, swears allegiance to the strongest, ability to use violence, military/police type (specialist in violence)
Se + Fi + Qi = Ability to whitewash oneself morally and vilify one's enemies, politician type
Se + Fi + Di = Ability to subtly influence people, making them to do what is needed, informal/criminal authority figure type
Se + Fe + Qe = Choleric temperament, narcissism, irritability, thirst for the best, “star” type
Se + Fe + De = Looseness in communication, ability to attract attention and “resolve” any conflict, show host type
Se + Te + Qe = Ability to promote oneself harshly, to be ruthless to competitors, careerist type
Se + Te + De = Quick decision-making, athleticism, team captain type

Difference in function:
Se - Ne = Able to look like a solid adult, insistently demand from a position of authority, seniority (SLE+SEE+LSI+ESI)
Se - Ni = Makes efforts to achieve the desired, does not escape into fantasies and escapism (SLE+SEE+ESE+LSE)
Se - Si = Ready for constant clashes and a life of tension for the sake of ambitious goals and great gains (SLE+SEE+EIE+LIE)
Se - Ti = Lustfulness, “animal” sexuality (SEE-LII)
Se - Fi = Absence of guilt, prone to sadism and “beastly” cruelty (tendency towards antisocial psychopathy) (SLE-EII)
Se - Te = Recklessness
Se - Fe = Fearlessness
Se - Qi = Willing to violate laws and moral norms to gain and maintain power, willing to feel “bad” (SLE-LII)
Se - Di = Self-image of exceptional self worth (narcissism) (SEE-EII)
Se - Qe = Not afraid of pain, illness, or hardship

========
Conclusions:
The meaning of Se is the intensification of power-based competition for resources, when resources are accumulated by those who embody the optimum physical and mental condition of a sexually mature representative of their biological species (i.e. is the biological “alpha”), and all individuals falling out of the optimum die one way or another die out. Se is alien to any cultural constraints, and in the absence of culture everything is determined by biology, which is the same for all members of a species. The stronger the competition, the harsher the selection, the fewer individuals reproduce, and the higher the probability that the offspring of those who do reproduce will be closer to the optimal condition of their parents.

At the same time, extraverted (base) Se, imposes by its activity a monopoly on the dominance in the population of one type of behavior, thinking, and genotype that demonstrates the highest adaptability here and now. And introverted (creative) Se by means of conservative education eliminates any deviations from the current optimum of adaptability, reinforcing the dominance of the central variant.

Thus, the active role of Se is to increase the pressure of stabilizing selection on the population, and its passive role is its association with qualities that give an individual and its offspring an advantage under conditions of strong stabilizing selection. Summarizing all of the above, the author concludes that the Se function from a biosocial point of view can be defined as a complex of individual traits evolutionarily linked with STRONG STABILIZING SELECTION in the population.
