Semantic Content of Fe
General characteristics of Fe - transmission of information through the language of emotions, creation of negentropy through emotional impact, emotional transformation of the environment.
KEY EVALUATIONS: good-bad (non-specific evaluation common to both ethical functions), fascinating-unfascinating, exciting-unexciting (evaluations specific to Fe).
Fe also plays a leading role in affective empathy (empathy/compassion, sympathy, emotional contagion with others' emotions – both positive and negative). Both Fi and Fe participate in affective empathy, but the role of Fe is significantly higher – the average value for Fe in affective empathy profiles is 1.16 conditional units above the population average, compared to 0.46 for Fi. Moreover, Fe dominates both in terms of empathy/compassion and in terms of "contagion" with other people's emotions.
Empathy-fantasy (empathy with heroes of works) – here the role of Fe is even more pronounced, while the role of Fi is very small (weakly positive)
Fe is characterized by emotional-ethical manipulations aimed at changing the mood of others. Moreover, black-ethical manipulations are aimed precisely at changing the mood of others, and not their behavior.
For Fe, the auditory channel is more important than the visual channel (in contrast to Fi, where the opposite is true).
