Semantic Content of De
Extraverted (black) declatimity. Due to its extraversion and wide range of equivalence, De’s strategy becomes ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION OF HORIZONTAL RELATIONSHIPS.
Lack of psychological vulnerability, de-ideologization, bluntness, and indiscrimination in contacts - these are its breakthrough tools. It is no coincidence that both sociotypes with leading De - LIE and ESE - have a reputation as the best salespeople in socionics.
If Di works more for the vertical power structure, localizing and neutralizing discontent and redirecting it to lower levels, De works in a sense against the vertical, sweeping away social boundaries with its shameless energy and omnivorousness in contacts. When in the 90s, optimists in Russia relied on "Loot will defeat evil", they were essentially counting not so much on Te, but rather on the breakthrough democratic potential of De. The democratism of labor relations familiar to the culture of the United States (namely, the external democracy of relations between superiors and their subordinates) is a result of De's work, which occupies an important place in American culture. Alas, De is not interested in problems or real social tensions - just like Di. Therefore, its democracy is purely external, shallow, parasitically indifferent to any existing social structure, with no motivation to change or improve it. In this sense, both functions - the obedient Di, working to reinforce hierarchical social levels (toward a "corporate state"), and the intense, easily overcoming social boundaries pseudo-democratic De - are purely conformist, devoid of reformist potential. Any social changes (unless they cement problems rather than solve them objectively) are always due to the eternally irritated and dissatisfied questimity.
