SLE+EII
JOINTLY ACKNOWLEDGED TRAITS:
- I spare no effort in trying to contribute to the prosperity of my country.
- Among my close friends there are failures or people who are poorly settled in life.
- Sports and manual labor are a natural, everyday need of any healthy organism.
- In clothing and household items, I value prestige above all.
- When I have money, I often act as a sponsor or benefactor.
- I often feel the need for intense physical work.
- I cannot change.
- I don’t understand what pleasure there could be in smoking - I’ve tried more than once, but felt neither craving nor enjoyment.
- I like keeping and raising a dog.
- It’s true that I never speak aloud about my pain, fear, hunger, or fatigue, even if I experience them.
JOINTLY REJECTED TRAITS:
11. I must admit, I like to gossip about acquaintances.
12. I feel disgust toward certain animals and insects.
13. I feel a sense of anticipation when exploring new places.
14. “If they give - take, if they beat - run” - I think this is a wise saying.
15. I would rather have a cat than a dog.
16. As a child, I often imagined myself in dreams as a magician or illusionist.
17. I am rather squeamish and tend to avoid sick people.
18. I have been seriously late for a date or for work (at least a couple of times).
19. The skin on my forehead is usually cold - you can often feel it if you place your palm on it.
20. Sometimes I gossip.
It’s hard to find a pair that has even less in common. And yet, even here, there is something:
- Both are potential “dog people.”
- Both dislike complaining.
- Both are not squeamish.
- Both dislike gossiping.
- Both are punctual.
- Both are inclined toward sponsorship and patronage (though for different reasons).
- Both do not shy away from physical labor.
- Finally, both have a stable psychic structure and do not intend to change under outside influence.
However, this last point is precisely what will help them least in living together. Considering that far more values divide them than unite them (those are simply not discussed here), SLE and EII will find it difficult to get along. And even what unites them - likely won’t really unite them (except, perhaps, caring for a dog).
EII, like SLE, possesses self-respect and dislikes complaining. But SLE actually likes when others complain to him and play the victim. Yet what he might get from IEI, he will never get from EII.
