ESE+ILI
The set of shared traits between ESE and ILI is small - it seems that, compared to other conflicting pairs, they have even fewer commonalities. Judge for yourself:
JOINTLY ACKNOWLEDGED TRAITS:
- Right now I breathe better and more freely with: 1 – the right nostril breathing much more freely; 2 – the right nostril slightly more freely; 3 – both the same; 4 – the left nostril slightly more freely; 5 – the left nostril much more freely.
- I have had allergic conditions (allergic rhinitis, hay fever, hives, eczema, etc.).
- My height is below average.
- My visual images are very finely and precisely detailed.
- I often imagine various fictional situations with many naturalistic and sometimes even nauseating details.
- I easily notice any gradual changes in my surroundings that occur almost imperceptibly, step by step.
- In any task, I find appealing the subtler details and nuances that others scarcely notice.
- I get irritated easily by stupid questions.
- I often feel as if time over the span of five minutes either speeds up or slows down - as if it pulsates, moves unevenly.
JOINTLY REJECTED TRAITS:
- I am a “lean” person; I have no excess fat on my body and never have had any (if you are over 45, evaluate this according to your younger years - as it was then).
- After nettle burns, large itchy welts quickly appear on my skin.
- I enjoy heroic–romantic books in which the protagonists face serious challenges and search for and discover opportunities that help them overcome obstacles.
- If I need to catch a falling object, I jerk not just my arm but my whole body.
- Large-scale wholes always interest me more than their small and “fine” details.
- My skin has an increased susceptibility to infections (for example, pimples often appear where blackheads were, scratches tend to become inflamed; there may also be increased susceptibility to fungal infections, etc.).
- When someone nearby starts eating something, I often immediately feel the desire to eat the same thing - my “mouth waters.”
- When I am near someone else’s misfortune, I often feel uplifted, because I feel needed and useful.
- Fifteen minus one is always and invariably fourteen.
- I love all sorts of pickled foods and often eat them in considerable quantities (herring, pickled cucumbers, sauerkraut, salted mushrooms, etc.).
- I don’t like fussing with small facts, so I usually try to “push” them into some general rule, even if they don’t fit there very well.
The shared traits that emerge from the above list:
- Attention to small and “fine” details, both in visual perception and in practical matters
- Readiness to perceive the unusual
- They avoid being near someone else’s misfortune
- They are not inclined to eat a lot of salty foods
- Their height is more often below average (though only as a statistical tendency, not a strict majority)
