Some Personality Traits That Are Closely Related to the Intuition-Sensorics Dichotomy

On 87 properties closely connected to this dichotomy we managed to reveal nine semantic clusters, plus 9 more properties that remained outside the boundaries of these groups, not gravitating to any of them.

1. "The focus of attention is on the real, tangible world, not in imaginary worlds."
The group with the strongest diagnostic questions, which most clearly coincides with the core meaning of the intuition-sensorics dichotomy itself.

2. Physical dexterity and agility, sense of balance.
This group is close to the previous one in profile, the second in diagnostic strength. One of the peculiarities - relatively "sagging" Qi (individualists do not like training, especially when it comes to group physical activity?) and the pole of foresight. The most developed physical conditions in the socion are demonstrated by the SLE, the outsiders of this group are LII (but his quasi-identical ILI has not so bad dexterity).

3. Detailed sensations, ability to provide comfort, preference for sensory professions.
A diverse group of properties, formed around good skills of a purely sensory plane (if a person has a developed sphere of sensations, he/she is more likely to choose a profession to exploit these skills, and he will have a greater attraction to comfort). The core of the group is a strengthened Si (mainly due to the properties of dynamics - focus on the quality of material resources). Tactics (delving into the nuances of quality) and constructivism (developed sensory memory more often evokes memories of the owner of a tangible thing?) are also strengthened. The leader in these properties is the ESE, the outsider is the LIE.

4. Absence of negative symptomatology peculiar mainly of Ni - absence of perceptual deceptions, clear consciousness, clearly reading the real situation.
The leaders of the group are SEI and SEE, the outsiders - ILI, but LII is already doing much better here than most intuitives (due to the combined effect of a number of traits that strengthen the ability of consciousness to resist internal background noise of various kinds).

5. Concentration on solving real problems, scattered attention is not typical.
Another cluster on the absence of negative intuitive symptomatology - but here it is more related to the influence of Ne. In addition to sensory functions, both logical functions are elevated in the profile, especially Te, due to the contribution of logic and rationality. The leaders in this property are LSE, SLE, and LSI, the outsiders are IEI and ILE, but LIE here turns out to be almost a full-fledged sensor. Of all the clusters, this one is most correlated with the manifestations of schizothymia by its negative pole.

6. Developed plot fantasy, ability to imagine alternative worlds with their own original story unfolding in time.
The first cluster of positive symptomatology of intuition (abilities given but not taken away by intuition). Characterized by a strong Ni (primarily). Ne is also elevated, which is why both program white intuitives, but especially IEI, come out on top. The outsiders of the properties are the delta sensorics - the most "anchored" on the ground types.
But among the intuitive types, IEE is the worst (unexpectedly). Apparently, the whole point is that the IEE-SLI pair do not like to look far into the future in time - so the manifestations of intuition in IEE turn out to be connected not with the construction of long, time-unfolding plots, but with the search for point/punctual (“точечных”) unusualities in the surrounding world and people, the search for the most unique thing in the moment (there is such a question in the list - number 37, but it does not form a separate cluster).

7. Talent of a predictor, vision of variants of development of the current situation.
Unlike the previous one, this cluster is related to forecasting the real (rather than fictitious) situation for pragmatic purposes, and especially in terms of warning against negative development scenarios. Along with strong Ni, this cluster requires strengthened Te, because of which ILI comes first here, but IEI falls out of the leaders' ranks and is generally in the last place among intuitives. However, the worst cases with predicting the future are in white sensorics, and not even creative (which in this case is helped by the pole of foresight), but programmatic.

8. Understanding of complex abstractions, interest in global issues of being, rather than the everyday side of life.
The last semantic cluster of intuition identified on this set of questions. A strong Ne comes to the fore here, and for the completeness of the property, it is necessary to strengthen the "cheerful" (attentive to the global world) functions - Ti and Fe, and Qi tuned to individual cognition. The absolute leaders are alpha intuitives, while the outsiders are LSE, SLI, ESI.

9. Attention to the external "wrapping" of reality, creative approach to the appearance of people and objects, to physical beauty and cleanliness, attraction to "glamour".
The smallest of the discovered groups of questions (only 3 items), which is nevertheless worth mentioning. In addition to sensorics, dynamics makes a great contribution to the property, strongly separating caring and infantile types. And due to the contribution of ethics and positivism to the "glamorous" values, it is especially strong in the pair of ESE and LII.
