CONSTRUCTIVISM (empirical properties)EMOTIVISM (empirical properties)
Negative emotional background (this can be explained by the fact that hyperactivation of the deep limbic system, presumably underlying the constructivist pole, can only lead to a dominance of negative emotions)Neutral or positive emotional background.
Inert fixation on negative experiences.Rapid displacement and quick recovery from emotional experiences.
Low thresholds of emotional arousal to various stimuli, often trivial ones.High thresholds of emotional arousal.
Emerging emotional arousal is not controlled or managed by consciousness, or is only partially controlled and with difficulty.Emerging emotional arousal is easily controlled and directed by consciousness, and can easily be stopped.
Restless sleep.Deep and restful sleep without nocturnal awakenings.
Inability to flexibly manage one's emotions in communication, including inability to be diplomatic, fake, emotionally adapt, smile insincerely, "pretend" to be in a good mood, and also to prioritize others' feelings over one's own.Ease of flexible use of one’s emotions in communication, ability to emotionally adapt to others, including displaying insincere emotions through facial expressions and voice. Emotional compromise, diplomatic skills.
Often - a subjective feeling of special intensity of heard sounds, hence - a love for listening to music, which sometimes induces quasi-orgasmic sensations.Music rarely evokes internal emotional resonance.
Good memory for faces and their individual differences.Weak memory for faces and their individual differences.
Tendency toward slowness in reading and comprehension of what is read visually.Tendency toward quickness in reading and comprehension of what is read visually.

According to the concept of classical "quantized" socionics, this pole includes only rational ethicists and irrational logicians (which is not always true).According to the concept of classical "quantized" socionics, this pole includes only rational logicians and irrational ethicists (which is not always true).
According to both Model A and several more advanced socionic models, this is ethics in an inert position, where it is difficult to control, and logic in a controlled service position (manipulative).According to both Model A and several more advanced socionic models, this is logic in an inert position, where it is difficult to control, and ethics in a controllable service position (manipulative).
The neurophysiological interpretation of the actual experimentally obtained properties of the constructivism pole indicates a corresponding strong activation (sometimes hyperactivation) of the deep limbic system. The neurophysiological interpretation of the actual experimentally obtained properties of the emotivism pole indicates the accompanying underactivation of the deep limbic system at this pole.
The properties of constructivism partially overlap with those of questimity. This is because constructivism is associated with the activation of the deep limbic system, while questimity is associated with the activation of the insula (the so-called central lobe of the brain, which is a paralimbic system intermediate between the limbic system and the neocortex). The activity of the limbic and paralimbic systems is somewhat positively correlated. The properties of emotivism partially overlap with the properties of declatimity. The reason for this is the correlation between the activities of the limbic and paralimbic systems. Emotivism is associated with depression of the limbic system, while declatimity is associated with depression of the paralimbic system (the so-called "insula" of the brain).
The properties of constructivism partially overlap with those of ethics. The difference between them is that constructivism is associated with the activity of the limbic system, while in ethics the functions provided by the neocortex but supported by the limbic system predominate.
The properties of constructivism slightly overlap with those of negativism, which corresponds to inert excitation of the paralimbic system (insula). The distinction between them is that constructivism results in a predominance of a negative emotional background here and now, while negativism, due to the role of its substrate - the paralimbic system - in planning, forecasting, and integrating information from different sources, is tied to a negative outlook on future predictions, without affecting the current mood background. The properties of emotivism overlap to a very small extent with the properties of positivism, which in turn is related to the normal, controlled (subjugated and weakened) functioning of the insula without signs of stagnant excitation. Emotivism gives a bright mood background here and now, while positivism gives an optimistic coloring to future predictions.
Surprisingly, constructivism and negativism intersect very weakly with each other, and similarly, emotivism and positivism also overlap very weakly in their properties. For example, LSE, as an emotivist, is not predisposed to depression or negative emotions in their background mood, but for the future, as a negativist, they predominantly give skeptical forecasts. The opposite is true for SLI (more prone to minor emotional experiences here and now, and at the same time, due to positivism, indifferent-complacent forecasts for the future). The same difference can be seen between ILE and LII. ILE is more optimistic in their predictions than LII, but LII is less predisposed to depression than ILE. Similarly, EII is very benevolent in their predictions and views on people and events, in which, like forecasts, the paralimbic system integrates information from various sources, while at the same time, "here and now", they are highly predisposed to depression, anxiety, guilt, pangs of conscience, etc. This is possible due to the significant independence in the functioning of the paralimbic (negativism) and limbic (constructivism) systems of the brain.
